BALLET & POINTE

 This classical artistic dance form incorporates elaborate movement, gestures and poses. It is characterized by its grace, beauty, and discipline and is the foundation for all dance forms.

 

JAZZ  

A various, stylized and unique dance form which gives the body opportunity to be versatile in its movement.  Ballet is highly recommended to coincide with this class.

 

TAP 

A form of dance and movement with rhythmic sounds, it is executed by the movement of the feet.  This class builds coordination, syncopation, balance and thinking skills.

   

 

 

LYRICAL  

This dance form combines the structure of ballet and the freedom of jazz to become its own interpretation of the music or lyrics.  It is expressed by the dancer's own emotions and feelings, to help find their 

own individuality in the movements.

 

HIP HOP  

A fun, high-energy class with OLD SCHOOL and NEW SCHOOL moves.

 Be prepared to sweat! sweat! sweat! 

 

CHEERLEADING  

In this class you will learn cheers, stunts, team building skills and the basic foundations of tumbling.  

A great preparatory class if you want to tryout for High School cheerleading. 

 

COMBINATION (COMBO) CLASSES 

(ages 3-5):  This class is for developing skills through song and dance.  This encourages children to express themselves and explore movement. This class is a great way to introduce a young child to the world of dance, creative movement and music.  Combinations available are:

Ballet/Tap/Tumbling or Ballet/Jazz/Tumbling

 

BOYS CLASS

An energy-filled class that allows boys to be boys!  Helps develop confidence, strength, coordination, core development and is a good introduction to dance mechanics.

 

CARDIO CLASS

An hour full of fun with various exercises to surely get the heart pumping!!! When you can't make it to the gym, come take this class and build your endurance. (Class is geared toward adults.)    

 

YOGA

With over 25 years of teaching experience, JoEtte has something to offer everyone in her classes. Yoga Practice sessions are never a standard routine, thereby always keeping you challenged at your personal level, 

and growing the connection between your mind, body, and spirit.

 

 

BREAK DANCING

A street-dance inspired class that teaches you basic battling style movement. Rocking, popping and B-boying are performed to funky break beats.

 

STRETCH & STRENGTH

A class devoted to building body awareness, strength and flexibility.

 

CLASS LEVELS

Level I - Beginning (an introduction to dance)

Level II - Intermediate (recommended for dancers with some previous experience)

Level III - Intermediate/Advanced (students with greater knowledge of dance technique)

Level IV - Advanced (very challenging class for the more serious dancer)

Level V - Professional (a class geared for dancers auditioning, instructors and college dance team)

 

AGE  LEVELS

Combo I - Ages 3 & 4

Combo II - Ages 4 & 5

Jr. Classes - Ages 6 - 8

Youth Classes - Ages 9-12

Teen Classes - 13 & above

Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.  Automatic payments NOW available. Just ask at the office.
