Welcome to Dance Explosion

        My name is Jessica Reese, better known by everyone as Ms. Jessica. I am very proud to be entering the 12th year of owning and directing Dance Explosion.

        I started dancing at the age of two, alongside my older brothers and sisters. As my passion for dance grew, so did my devotion and respect for the art. When I was 11, I began assisting my dance teachers with the youngest dancers. It was then that I fell in love with teaching and choreography and my dreams, hopes and aspirations for owning my own dance studio began. 

        I spent the following years preparing, training and performing. My expertise comes from a wide range of intense training, both in the United States and internationally. I’m honored to have trained and danced with two of our late, great, tap legends -- Eddie Brown and Gregory Hines. I've also had the pleasure of dancing with Diane Walker (Lady Di), Acia Gray, Jason Samuels and many, many others. 

        Dance Explosion started in October 2000. We have something for every dancer from beginning to advanced dancers. We offer recreational classes, training for performing groups as well as competition teams. 

        Every year I am amazed by our students and the way they learn and grow in their dedication and discipline to the art of dancing. I enjoy watching their confidence and self-esteem strengthen. I see them develop friendships that will no doubt last a life time. All of this is truly rewarding and I feel so blessed to have a career that I love so much and brings me so much joy. 

        Our annual recital gives our students the opportunity to shine and show their family and friends what they have learned throughout the year.
